How to reach us
Fairmont Dental Lab provides professional services to dentists and denturists. We are not open to the public — patients attend only by appointment for shade matching arranged through their practice.
What to include
If you are asking about a case in progress, the patient identifier and the date it was sent are enough for us to find it. If you are asking a technical question, describe the clinical situation rather than only the question — it usually changes the answer.
Completed prescription forms can be uploaded through the form above, up to four at a time.
For anything genuinely demanding, call rather than write. Ask a technician covers what the technical resource is for.
Sending cases
Cases move by UPS and Purolator in both directions, and Fairmont works with dental offices throughout British Columbia and across Canada.
Digital cases can be sent directly from your scanner — Fairmont is a preferred iTero laboratory and accepts every other mainstream platform. See connecting your scanner.
For packing and dispatch, see packing and sending a case.
New to the laboratory?
Start with a conversation rather than a first case. Become a client sets out what opening an account involves, and the new client guide covers the practical setup.
Reviews linked to independent third-party websites are not endorsed by or affiliated with Fairmont Dental Lab.
If a case is already with us
Have the patient identifier and roughly when it was sent. That is enough for us to locate a case quickly, and considerably faster than a description of the restoration.
If a case is due and you have not heard, call rather than waiting. Most apparent delays resolve in a minute — the case is in transit, or a query was raised and has not reached the right person at the practice.
A named person at the practice who tracks what is out and what is due prevents most of these entirely.
Questions we are glad to receive
Whether a preparation will support the material you have in mind. How much clearance a restoration actually needs. Whether an implant angulation permits screw retention. How to approach a case that has already been remade once.
Advising on demanding cases is part of the service rather than an imposition, and the conversation is far more useful before the tooth is prepared than after the record is taken.
Complaints and feedback equally. A specific observation — contacts running tight across the last dozen cases — is a solvable problem in a way that a general impression is not.
Where to find us
5349 Imperial Street, Suite 100, Burnaby, BC V5J 1E5 — close to the geographic centre of Metro Vancouver, reachable from Vancouver, the North Shore, Richmond, the Tri-Cities and the Fraser Valley without crossing the whole region.
The same number serves as telephone and fax. The laboratory is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed at weekends.
Practices further afield are served equally — see service areas.
