A laboratory relationship, not a commodity purchase

Dental practices need more than a material and a delivery date. They need responsive technical judgment, consistent execution, and accountability when a case is difficult. That is the relationship Fairmont has been building with practices across the Lower Mainland since 1988.

Some cases arrive with a clear prescription. Others need a conversation first. Either way, working through the demanding ones with you is part of the service, not an extra.

Quality assurance

Every case is inspected under the microscope at two stages — once after the wax-up is complete, and again after the frame is finished — so the degree of fit is verified before any aesthetic work begins.

For life-like results we combine a porcelain layering technique with experienced technicians and porcelain systems sourced from manufacturers around the world. A single crown and a full-mouth reconstruction move through the same procedures.

Digital dentistry

Fairmont is a preferred iTero laboratory, designated by Align Technology, and accepts cases from 3Shape TRIOS, Medit, Primescan and CEREC, Carestream and any system exporting open STL. Conventional impressions are as welcome as they have been since 1988 — send whichever suits your operatory.

Digital submission removes shipping and model steps from the front of a case, though an incomplete or distorted scan can still compromise a result, which is why uncertain margins and restorative space are resolved before design approval.
